What does it do?

Investments can be tough to understand and follow, but they don’t have to be! DOWNUP gives you a simple and easy way to track your investments on a day to day basis. DOWNUP will give you a quick snap shot of how you’re doing with any stock you may own. It will give you data such as how much did you make or lose on a stock. How much are you down or up on your total investments.

Why the name?

So why the name DOWN UP? When we were trying to figure out what to call this app, the obvious choice at first was Up Down. But if you think about what that name is implying and you take it for it’s literal meaning, it’s not a good situation to be for an investor. You don’t want to start on an UP market and finish with a DOWN market. So we thought, well if you switch those words around to DOWN UP, it fits in perfect for an investors motto. And so DOWN UP was born.
